About the Southern New England Chapter

Established in 1968 to provide regional support in the States of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island for the American Fisheries Society. AFS is the oldest and largest scientific group dedicated to the advancement of fisheries science and the conservation of renewable aquatic resources.

Join Us at Our Next Meeting on June 17, 2026 at the US Fish and Wildlife Service office in Hadley, MA.

Southern New England Chapter of the American Fisheries Society will be hosting a one-day science meeting on Wednesday, June 17 at the US Fish and Wildlife Service Northeast Region Headquarters at 300 Westgate Center Drive in Hadley, MA 01035. What better way to start the summer than to get together and talk research with a great group of fisheries professionals from across southern New England?
